Technically, it wasn't aka Lorain Sr. as it wasn't called Lorain Senior until Admiral King was built in the early 60s. So, simply Lorain, like today, is/was the correct name.

As hinted, Lorain had a solid history until the other 2 schools, Admiral King and Southview, came along. Admiral King had outstanding teams for many years, and nearly took out powerhouse Hower in the early 80s.
