Coaches,

If you are coming to the Mason Meet or have not yet finalized your rosters please do so today. The deadline is tonight at 9:00pm.

We are excited to host again this year and have a great group of teams coming.

Best of luck this season.

The D1 Boys races will feature:
Mason vs. Centerville + Pick North, Lincoln along with Trinity, KY and many other good teams.

The girls will have:
Mason vs. Turpin, Ursuline, Springboro, Loveland and many others.

The D2 strong teams will be:
Madeira, Tippecanoe, Springfield, Oakwood, Alter and many others.

OVTC was there last year, and he told me there was a monitor to watch the race live. That's why I'm going this year to check it out.

How many girls does Mason allow to enter the Varsity race?

D2 and D1
 
In the D2 race you can run unlimited entries.

The D1 races it is 10 per team.

The open races are 9/10 and then 11/12.

1st race of the day at 9:00am.

Has there been a lot of rain? I do recall there being a bridge over the creek crossing but why bother? If there's more water it will be more of a challenge. I did hear that there might be some gators in the creek that have been released by people that bought them as pets and didn't expect them to get as big as they did.

I too am curious how the creek was handled today. It had to be raging torrent lol

They did the first creek crossing but not the second. Here is a short clip of a video one of our parents took. (https://twitter.com/coffmancompsci/s...329013762?s=12)

All in all the course was in great shape. The mulch hill was a challenge, and as you can see the creek crossing they did was work. But the footing was good and there were not too many places with excessive mud. It did get torn up as the day went on but as usual they put on a nice event.

Mason course was actually really good for the weather. Times were a bit slow but not that much. maybe 30 seconds
