Does it seem as if fewer and fewer swimmers are around? Is swimming dying?

No, swimming isn't dying. It is off season now. Don't worry, there will be more posting in the future.

They're practicing....getting ready for USA Swimming events such as LSC Championships and Spring Nationals/Regional meets, as well as YMCA Zone and National meets. Swimming has no off season, except for maybe three weeks in August and one or two weeks in April.

Not everyone is in USA and YMCA. We just had our YMCA championships, and the 15-18 group is just a small fraction of all those who do swim high school. I agree though, a serious swimmer doesn't have much of an off season.
