Ha ha, got you to look anyway. We always seem to have one or two good swimmers but until we get our own natorium I don't think we will be challenging St. X anytime soon.

I heard Moeller is going to have less than 10 kids on the swimming team and one of them is a kid that is also on the wrestling team.

that's untrue. they are maybe the best in wrestling this year. Next year they should have the best basketball team, and they've had the best frosh football teams 3 years in a row.

St. X is the best in wrestling this year. Next year X and Moeller should be very competitive next year in basketball. And last year, Moeller tied with Lasalle and Elder for the best frosh football teams. . . but then they go to this year andlost to every GCL south team. X JV football 9-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The banner in the gym says X has won GCL swimming "all years"... and, at least now, they do it with the 2nd and 3rd string guys...

Its the 46th. Diving won its 43rd. So when are any GCL schools going to be able to beat our B team?

X is better, trust me. X beat Moeller at Coaches Classic (when Gallagher was not hurt. He was hurt at CIT), then when Gallagher comes back for Sectionals we will see who comes out on top. And if you had any clue what you were talking about you would realize that X is not a very good dual team. They are not good because they have so many 1st or 2nd year wrestlers wrestling in the lower weights. But when tournament time comes X is very good.

In 1980 we were swimming against your "B" team and as it got down to the final 400 freestyle relay, and St. X was behind in the meet, so all of a sudden Coach Denny Sullivan summons down to the Marlins practice and here come four All-American "B-teamers" to swim the final event. Ha ha ha

Maybe when one of the schools get there own pool, and when they too are able to recruit through the Cincinnati Marlins just as St. X does

When you put dashes in between years (ex. 80-90) instead of actually writing out all the years you won (80,81,82, etc.), that's when you know you're pretty good.

Or when all you have to write is "All Years!"

I'd say X's swimming program is the most dominant of any sport, at any school, in the state.

Moeller is GCL Champions in Basketball and Wrestling this winter. Dont tell me that x is better than moe at those sports. All you have is excuses. Just be happy with swimming this year jeez.

interesting, dont the normal top 4 in the city get their swimmers from the marlins (x, anderson, sycamore and wyoming.)?

What do you know moeller is better than X in wrestling this year and we just proved it last weekend. We had 13 out of 14 guys place I dont think x can say that.

now go and win 22 + state titles and you can talk about dominating.

Man, Gallagher comes back and St. X wins sectionals. If I'm not mistaken, St. X, with Gallagher, is undefeated vs. Moeller thus far.

St. X has nearly double the score of the second place team (currently UA). 7 point underdog... ha! GO BOMBERS!

No, they get them from the Barracudas - the Marlins are overrated. It would be nice to see Moeller get their own natatorium, because Keating Natatorium is such a dump - mold and leaks and 4 inch roaches and all.

Trash Keating why don't you. One thing is beautiful about Keating though. Look at the banners.

How can you trash Keating, its the best natatorium in Greater Cincinnati, if it was such a dump then why did the UC and Miami womens Swim and Dive team swim there?

Simply X

gizmo do you want your own natatorium so you can hang up all your banners

Sounds like someone is upset that they can't beat St. X's swim team! Can't say anything about the team itself so he attacks the facility! Jealous?

Simply X

I think it's a nice facility. The walls are nice. Wait on one of the walls we can see, because of the banners.

moeller puts no emphasis on their swim team- if we wanted to let 2000 kids come to our school, i'm sure we'd have a few more swimmers

we dont have 2000 kids. The fact is we get the top swimmers from the Marlins and other teams and country clubs.
