Who will be the impact freshmen for 2011? What do the traditional powers have coming in? In the Southwest does X have a strong class? How about Wyoming, Centerville, Moeller? In the Northeast what does University, Firestone, Solon have coming in? Does St.Francis have any strong freshman? How about SC & UA?

Thomas Worthington has Jesus Caraballo coming in as a freshman going a sub 49 mid 100 free, 22 mid 50 free and 1:50 - 200 free.

The St. Charles freshman class is awesome! On paper, it's the best group of freshmen since the class of 2008 helped SC win its first state title. I may be missing some people, but these are the club swimmers who are froshies at SC this year:

Casey Horan
Sam Aslaner
Max Penn
Andrew Hoffman
Franz Kabelka

I don't know if this class can help SC beat a very talented UA team for the district title, and they certainly aren't ready to compete with X and Francis for a state title now, but they'll be a force in the future!

The 2008 class is a tough act to follow. So far, they're the only ones who have broken X's hold on the state title in recent years - SF may do it this year. Coming into an established elite program does have its benefits as the expectations are higher and the upperclassmen have experienced the success. Best of luck to these young men...hopefully they will reach their potential.

Those are strong times. Adding him to a strong returning squad should place Thomas in the top 3 of the Central District. Although it doesn't look like Thomas has the enough swimmers to overtake SC or UA at the district, expect them to significantly outdistance New Albany & Olentangy Liberty in the sectional and district meets.

Don't know what UA has coming in, but they have plenty left from last year's class which was the finest class in the state. That class may win UA's 4th state title before their done. This year they should reclaim the district title from SC with or without talented freshmen.

Really no way for TW to challenge either for the team district title, they just are not deep enough, but they sure hope to have a few individual District titles and get all three relays to the State meet.

After checking around, it looks like UA will have a good freshman class...should be at least 5 or 6. Though not as strong as last year's class; several will contribute at the district meet.

Does Loveland have a swimming and diving team?
