After much debate, the trainers competing in this years OHSAA Pokemon League have been revealed:
In the 500, watch to see Perkins' Wheezing go up against Miller's Charizard. Rumor has it that Miller used a TM to teach his Charizard Earthquake, we'll see how this plays out. If Wheezing puts up a good enough smokescreen Miller won't be able to touch him. Also, St. X has a new trainer from no where. Who is this Tontillo kid from Pallet Town? Anyone know what Pokemon he will be using?
200IM/100 Breastroke: St. Xavier is returning 3 swimmers in both event, but Centerville's Litvinov also looks tough. Litvinov will be using the Rock-type Onix, which should be weak if St. Charles uses their water-types, as we have seen in the past. An interesting move is that St. X seems to be using Electric-types, with Baumgartner's Zapdos, Kimutis' Electabuzz (which did not make finals last year), and Lipari's....Raticate? At least he has managed to evolve it from the Ratata he has used in the past. Also, Sean Drake's Raichu performed fairly well.
Fly: Sandy Whitaker returns again with his Wartortle (notice St. Charles' water-theme). If he can evolve it before State he should have an easy victory, especially against St. Xavier's fire-types.
Preditions? Any other lineups revealed? I got this off swimmeet.com by the way.
