Contact Tim at 513-353-3100 to reserve a spot or enter a team into the Sunday afternoon High School hitting league at Miami Lakes Sports Complex 8073 Furlong Drive Miami Town Ohio 45041.
You do not need to have a four person team. Players wanting to play will be place on teams that are short.
Tim said the format will be a little more challenging this year with the use of several cages at various speeds.
Again, the teams will be made up of four players and the league is open to all HS age and above.
The league will start 3rd week of January and run to the 3rd week of February. Cost will be $30 per player or $120 per team.
Scoring: Each player will get five at bats with 15 swings to try to score.
A swing and miss or foul is scored at zer0.
Any batted ball that exits the cage fair will be worth one point.
The grid in the back of the cage has scores from 2 through 6.
At the end of 15 swings the player will receive a score for that plate appearance. This score will go towards the "team total" and eventually their individual score at the end of the game.
Naturally the team that scores the most points wins.
This is a great way to keep players active and challenged.
Moms and Dads can also get into the action getting in the men?s slow pitch league, Baseball, or Fastpitch eague as well.
