I am really questioning the value of the latest round of tech suits with their compression fabric and monofilliment ultralight nylon and welded seams. It is still a jammer that only covers 8 inches of thigh. How much less drag are these suits than a good old tight brief and shaved legs when the swimmer is going 2-3 miles per hour? I am in sports marketing and even I am questioning the BS from these companies.

They gotta sell something!!! If they can get into the athlete's head that is half the battle, if they get some well knowns to wear them and set a record, they win. It has been mentioned for years that the suit does not make the swimmer but the manufacturers seem to have proved that wrong the last round.
