Springfield (6-3) @ Ravenna (7-2)

I know the Ravens are loaded with good players what do the Spartan faithful think about this match up....

I have 2 words
SPOIL! --- ER!

Personally I feel Ravenna is the best team in the PTC this year but the Spartans continue to impress....
If the defense steps up and has their best showing of the year and the QB takes care of the ball for 4 quarters, its gonna be game on..

Its hard to figure this one out. Field had two more big starters out before the game against ravenna. QB had a concussion and Sr. LB had broken ribs. Dont forget Marcus Wright went out in the ravenna game with a broken hand early in the game. He was the major factor in stopping some running in the Springfield game. Then we had our #1 linebacker go out 3 plays in against Kent, and thats were the QB kept going with the qb draws. Injury's I think play the biggest roll. Now all that said, ravenna isn't reporting injury's and Springfield is in good health especially with Big John Hofer , I still cant get a grip on this one..

I hate to say it, but I am leaning towards Ravenna. I dont want it that way, but I think they have to much upperclass talent right now. They are where we will be next year I think. It will be interesting to see how this plays out though. KV may very well have them playing there hearts out for next year. This is a make a statement game for next year either way. I do believe it will be a wild game, but close.

50-0....... didnt want to spill the beans on yappi that we lost our QB 2 days before the game from a ACL tear. Disaster night for the seniors.

While I'll always root for Springfield after Tallmadge and Crestwood, I don't think they would have beat Ravenna. That team is loaded with talent this year.

After the agony that Springfield has gone through in the past few years, a great season, indeed. Hopefully the winning will continue to the remaining sports.
