Please pass along any boys sectional results that you might know.
I am only aware of the NE ohio SevenHills Sectionals
1st Lake - 310
2nd Jackson - 324
3rd Perry - 324
4th GlenOak - 327
Bit of a surprise with Perry making it out. I saw them play in several tournaments this year and they were never anywhere near that score.
Any district draws decided yet. I am always interested to hear about the Central district.

Anyone have Individual qualifiers from the other areas?
Thanks for the update.
Moeller looks to be a favorite for the team title. Any idea what the slope rating is on that course??
Glenview is 27 holes, so it depends on what two nines were played.
My guess is that they played East and South - East is the easiest of the three, while West is the toughest. Probably not too much of a challenge, especially for a talented team like Moeller.
Any word on how Iggy did at Sweetbriar? They probably broke 300 as a team as well.
Thanks for the update.

Nick Scott from Northmont is a great golfer. Look for him to compete at the state tournament.

What tees are normally played in HS? I thought it was generally the white. Help?
FYI - Iggy shot 300 at Sweetbriar (sectionals) and 308 at Pine Hills (district), winning both events.
From my experience, HS events will ask courses to move the tees around, playing about 6,300 for conference and sectional tournaments, 6,500 for districts, and close to 7,000 for state. Obviously, weaker players are eliminated each round, allowing the tournaments to maintain pace of play.
Can you imagine how long it would take some of these kids who don't break 100 at sectionals to play a 7,000 yard course? Oh, the humanity!!!

Normally they play south and west at glenview and i find the south to be the hardest by a bit.
I thought they played roughly 6300 yards for sectional and to my knowledge they dont play close to 7000 at state.

at glenview we played the east and south course from the blue tees. On some holes the tees were moved up but on some they were moved back to where the black tees were. The course played around 6400 or so. From what i heard the district tourny was set up hard and the course played a little over 7000
