Springfield's having their best season in years sitting at 4-2. Crestwood took a throrough beating from Ravenna last Friday as they amassed I think only 45 yards on the ground. Crestwood now has a new coach (Darrell Carson) after the resignation of their long-time coach Tom Hannan.

Could this one have "spoiler" written all over it?

Just checked the Radar. The rain is supposed to start any minute now, and not stop for 2 days. Ole Mother Nature may become the neutralizer.
I forsee lots of turnovers.

The Devils will be rested after today's day off. I hope they wake up in time for kickoff!

The Devils will be rested after today's day off. I hope they wake up in time for kickoff! I heard that this morning that they were off due to electrical problems.... the lights are on in Springfield and we are waiting for the Devils to come play....

there was a time not so so long ago that a day off school for the Spartans on a game day could have resulted in team suspensions due to excessive celebrations  :stirthepot: :stirthepot: but KV has put those days behind us... thank God..

I think KV should have won the Noble peace prize for soothing the restless naitives here in Springfield...

They were supposed to dig up some gas lines going into the building during school today but decided that due to rain and probably bare underground cabling installed during the Crusades that they needed to shut off the power to the HS. Since they cook all the food in microwaves at Crestwood (no lie) they decided it was best to use up a calamity day.
