MIDVALE — As Week 2 football games go, this one had a little bit of everything.
Like 766 total yards which produced 74 points. Oh, and a total of 156 yards in penalties and more than a few missed tackles.
But Coach Ed Henry and his Claymont Mustangs will take it.
After being shut out by Harrison Central in its opener, Claymont responded with a 44-30 triumph over Indian Valley in a hard-hitting battle at Kelley Field on Friday night.
“Our offense started to do what it’s supposed to do tonight and the kids were ready to play,” said Henry. “Our defense has got some work to do.”
