The H.S. schedule consists of all the PTC Metro Teams and the non-Conference games will be Ellet, Waterloo and Colverleaf. Hope that helps.

Do you guys know what the numbers look like for the 8th grade team?

8th Grade should be in good shape. With the large turn out last year for 7th graders, I look for close to 30 kids(8th graders) to go out for Football this upcoming season. Sounds like we may have a few with grade problems(again), but I'm pretty confident Football will be back in place at the the Middle School in 2009.

why the hush, hush on who's Coaching M.S. this year? At the assembly last week, there was no say on who the Coaches will be. Whacha ya know?

27, that's a good number.

I think Tallmadge will have around 35.

Now, I think we were hoping to have two 7th grade teams down on youth, but I don't think that's going to happen. Should havea good group of kids though.

Coach Vaughn has done a great job in getting the 7th and 8th graders involved with the H.S. Lifting Program. The turn out from these 2 classes has been very good during the Offseason.
I still think we need more Community involvement. We need to build some excitement in this town to make the Players feel like they're doing something, for more than themselves. It would be nice to see some School Spirit displayed at our major intersection(224 and Canton Rd) that shows support to our Community and its Football Team. Stuff like signs in Business windows, banners hung on street lights(ala Mogadore and Ellet), and showcasing these players in Parades or Rock the Docks. When Players feel the support, it draws more in, and we all know there are some big boys roaming those Hallways that should be wearing a Football uniform.

No hush hush, just getting back into the yappi groove.
Doug will be the head coach and I guess Shaq and S. Schaffer will be asst. because we wont have a freshman team this year and Scotty Cole jr. will be a QB coach. Thats the skinny on what I know.

What is the requirements to be a board member? If any can you list them? I know a guy who knows the same guy who would like to join. Main one is do you have to live in the district or if your kid is in open enrollment @ Springfield?
