The 2nd annual ballher skills academy with WNBA Star/Gold Medalist Tamika Catchings will take place June 13th 2009 in Canton, Ohio. Details for the camp are as follows:
CAMP OBJECTIVE
The objective of the ballher skills academy is to provide quality instruction to young girls in regards to the game of basketball. Throughout the camp, participants can expect to receive proper instructive techniques in the following fundamental areas:
shooting
ball handling
guard and post moves
defensive positioning
footwork
teamwork
It is anticipated that at the completion of the ballher skills academy, participants will have obtained the tools and the knowledge that, with repetition, will enable them to greatly improve their individual game.
WHO
All girls entering grades 5-12. Players will be categorized and grouped with players of their own age. It is expected that each group will have no more than 10-12 players maximum.
