Just kind of curious who was the best swimmer you have seen while you were/are in high school.

I was in high school when Jayme Cramer (St. X) swam. He was a beast and was the best that I have seen. I was amazed everytime he swam, he was very impressive.

I never saw him swim in high school but it would have been amazing to see Joe Hudepohl

Never got to see Cramer, didn't make it to the State meet my Freshman his Senior year.

Adam Ritter and Masayuki Kishida I've seen, but they really didn't become amazing until College.

Only saw Austin Staab his freshman year, but even then you could tell he was going to be good, but never did I think he would be as good as he is.

Of course I've seen quite a few impressive swims at the State meet while I was swimming and it would be silly to list too many people.

Allysa Kiel (spelling?) was fun to watch on the girls side.

The best I've seen is Austin Staab, he was amazing in high school and has only gotten better since. Joe Hudepohl seems to be the best high school swimmer ever in the the state, but he was long before my time.

Andy Swonger (SPY, Springfield North) set national records in the 50 free, 100 free, and 200 free events when he was 14, but never panned out into high school and college, even though he was still impressive in high school.

Margo Geer (SPY, Fairbanks) is an amazing swimming and impresses me every time she gets in the water.

It's simply majestic to watch a good backstroker more so than any other stroke IMO

Eric Huffman from Upper Arlington has my vote, he has turned in solid performances at the state meet in the past four years and has really impressed me.

Bill Pritchard was an awesome swimmer. Massillon Washington early to mid 70's, state champ 2 years in a row in 50 and 100 Free. Took around 20 years for the school record to be broken.

Are you saying that as a joke? I mean, seriously you just brought him up in a serious conversation with people talking about the likes of joe hudepohl and austin staab.
