i just wanna congratulate moeller on a nice win against their rivals st. x on friday. the team put on a nice show, led by drew "bad---" rosselot. i unfortunately could not stay for the entirety of the game, but i did hear that in the 3rd period rosselot brutally checked one of the bombers into the wall. the kid hit his head so hard that he actually shrank an inch and a half due to the compression of his spine. to rosselot i say job well done for beating up on those pampered, overpriveleged, arrogant -----s

I wonder where this kid goes? But to answer your question, Rooselot was told not to hit because he was getting so many penalties
And yes i saw Jesus at the X game, it was great, I hope he comes to more along with the gorilla

finally a new poster talking about moeller i appreciate your comments however they are entirely wrong. the tallawanda game well that is a funny story that i happend to hear from Bad--- (hyphens not underscores can you read). well Bad--- reported to me that the night before the talawanda game he was asked by harley davidson to shoot a commercial in which he benches a harley davidson motorcycle with some hot girl sitting in it at the same time. he said they had to do multiple shoots because they couldnt get the lighting right... as you can imagine he was kind of sore after that work out and it definitely showed on the ice. of course he told harley davidson that he couldnt do anymore commercials because they were reducing his ability on the ice. they understood. its also funny that you imply he was intimidated hahaha thats great Bad--- is never intimidated so why dont you go back to your farm and start humping some cows (we all know you tallawanda guys love to do that on friday nights).

Give moeller Tallawanda's coach and we will give you ours and lets see what happens, and I sitck to MoeFootball34's coment "moeller hockey good, coaching poor" so tallawanda guy just go crwal back to your farm

"You can olny work with what we got"
well we only got a bunch of individuals and nothing else, a good coach wuld turn those individuals into one great team, Tally has done that with Talawanda, but yet moeller's coach fails to do so. So we work with what we got, a poor coach.
Now for the Rosselot statment, hes the enforcer of Moeller so he has to hit, becuase if he doesn't moeller looks like a bunch of butterfly panzies. Second He hasn't been to football lifting for more than a month. second tell me 5 players who are better at skating than drew on Moellers team? here we will make this a rhetorical question "there is none"

I SMELL St. X
everyone come one come all. Witness with your very own eyes a St. X fan trash talking for Tallawanda... this is new to my eyes ive seen x fans trash talk for many other teams because theirs is inadequate but tallawanda is a new one on me. let me ask you another question X ---. why are you on here talking about tallawanda. Tallawanda can trash talk for themselves they really dont need your help. Moeller beat your figure skaters go cry in your room and leave the big boys here to play.
but there are parts of your argument i cant disagree with. X does have less talent than moeller i agree 100%. Moeller does have more talent. does this surprise you. it doesnt surprise me at all. they beat you twice...what you say.. thats right twice.
but if i were you i would watch what you say because i know Bad--- reads these and if you make him mad hes likely to explode on you i dont think you want that to happen. and if you think his skating is so bad maybe you should try to fight him on the ice... i dont think that it would end that well for you either way.

it's kinda sad when X's program is so pathetic that they have to start supporting other teams. and it's not even a GCL team that they support.

oldtimegcl- you think talawanda's coach would solve moeller's problems? you kids are probably too young to remember the old days when tally's coach was sycamore's head coach. results were not that good. track down some sycamore alumni from around that time and hear what they have to say.

Moeller beat Dublin Coffman 6-2 in Dublin in front of their "hockey hooligans"
With 5 minutes left, 24 on DC tried to start a fight with captain Nate Han and then proceeded to skate towards the bench and spit on Drew "bad---" Rosselot. This was also followed by one of the DC parents trying to start a fight with three of the Moeller Moms (I feel the tensions rising!)
This should bring Moeller up to #2 in the region right behind Talawanda who had a great weekend beating Culver Academy and some other team from Florida and then barley losing to St. John's I believe
This sets up the SWOHHSL as follows
(1S)Talawanda v. (4N) Alter
(2S) Moeller v. (3N) Springboro
(3S) Sycamore v. (2N) Beavercreek
(4S) St. X v. (1N) Centerville
I'm not really sure where Troy falls into this but they may replace one of the northern teams. Correct me if I'm wrong
TimtheEnchanter

Believe that Alter takes the #3 North seed by goal differential in head to head games
That makes it:
(1S)Talawanda v. (4N) Springboro
(2S) Moeller v. (3N) Alter
which really has no impact. Alter does have players back from injury/appendicitis, but Moeller should still roll.
Beavercreek lost two players to injury this weekend so their chances at an upset look bleak. Centerville has a chance at an upset as they beat Moeller earlier in year.
Look for Talawanda vs Centerville in the finals.

i think this year's team is different, i expect a moe/tally final.. Moe's had a chance to "rest" their better players in the past couple of weeks, and seems to be gearing up for a run in state. but who knows, anything can happen

.....I dont think a Talawanda/ Moelller chanpionship is possible...one of them goes down in the semis at the hands of the other..since they split their season series, each winning at home, it should set up a fun game Saturday night
With Troy as the five seed do they just fall out of the tournament completely? That makes no sense. The top seed team overall should get a bye..

There is no #5 seed. The last place team in the North has always been dropped from the Tourney. The South needs to get together and get another HS team in the League. The Tally-Moe Final is possible. The brackets aren't really brackets in the traditional sense. There is a **note**= "We will re-seed after the Friday Night games for the remainder of the tournament". So, If Moeller and Tally both win, the prevailing theory is that they will be cross bracketed so that the "weaker" North teams can't get to the finals.
Yes there has been a 5 seed before, the bracket used to be seperated by north south. So 5 vs 2 and 3 vs 4 the the one seed would play the lowest seed remaining. And as far as the " weaker " north teams, its tournament anything can happen... First time X won it they upset tally and moe, then beat beavercreek in overtime, when they were referred to as the second weakest team in the league. Don't underestimate teams, where is the tourny being held this year?
borohockey6
02-12-09, 09:11 AM
where is the tourny being held this year?
Kettering Rec.
This tournament is flawed in many ways, first of all I know that they are trying to split up the brackets to make the tournament as fair as possible but this really isn't fair to the players, coaches and parents because they will not know who or when they play in the next game. The way this thing works is that the teams will not know when or who they play until after all of the first round games are finished.
Also would would they put it at Kettering? This is not close for any of the teams except of Alter and Beavercreek. It was in Dayton last year so it's not like they like to mix it up. not only should this be somewhere in Cincinnati, but the place they have it in now is the furthest place from most people.

Wow, the shootout was sick. Joe Gieringer played amazing in it. Although, I thought the Centerville players had the chances to score.
Cincinnati (CAHA) hosts the Buckeye League tourney this weekend and next so very little ice available and Sports Plus, which they don't use, is ridiculously impossible to work with.

i personally think they should have it at goggin ice center because its the best rink in the state but its far from other schools except for talawanda
The Goggin could possibly the farthest rink for everyteam by far excapt Tallawanda. South Metro is probably the best rink, right off the highway, three teams already play there and its an hour from troy, hour or so from tally, hour and a half from cinci...
Its a beautiful rink but probably the worst rink besides Hobart to host the tourny

Tally scored the first six, then dumped their bench onto the ice. Score was 3-0 after 1. Sycamore managed to get a Power Play goal and an even strength goal. The issue was never really in doubt.

The tournament site was the South Metro (2006) and Cincinnati Gardens two years in a row (2007 and 2008). The location rotates amongst the available sites such that no team enjoys a "home ice" advantage for a number of years running. And, as a modest corrections, Centerville and Springboro are less than 15 minutes from KRC. Plus, you can make it from Cincy in less than an hour. I would expect Hobart to get their turn, unless the Cincy teams pitch a fit. Goggin is a beautiful place, but not sure how many teams want to travel to Goggin and ulitamately face Talawanda on home ice. That said, they should get their turn, IMHO. Next year would be good, since that is the best chance for a "down year" for them.

It was defiantly at South Metro last year and Gardens on 07, and I live pretty close to downtown Cincy but right off of 75 and it still took us over an hour each time to get there each time. If you go by quality pick Goggin. Sports Plus wouldn't be that bad, plus they have two ice sheets

Yea, I wish I had video of St X #20 tripping across blueline then getting back up, then regaining composure to score in shoot-out. Centerville parent next to me thought it was a diversionary tactic. NICE!
