Lets talk wrestling then. That always brings some happy talk doesn't it Kev?
Where's Zack going to wrestle this year and what weight class? Jimmy will be at middle school at either 86 or 92 pounds. I do wish that kid would start growing soon.

polster use HGH instead...

Buck29 Zach will be wrestling for Team Ohio Lightning this year he currently weights around 175 he wants to wrestle 160 but will probably have a few matches early on @ 172 until he gets down... they say he will get over 60 matches this season but there is allot of traveling involved and weekends out of state but thats the nature of the beast... i kind of like that scenario compared to the 20-25 matches he would get wrestling for a regular JH... next season he will be back in a public school we recently moved to Lake so he will be competing in the Federal League for at least his 8th grade season have not decided on HS yet, you know i would love to bring him back to Springfield but i will make the choice that is best for him when that time comes.. Good luck to Jimmy this year he is a beast...

Where are they now question.

His nick name was chocolate. Played c team with Larry, Zach, Todd and the rest of the 7th grade team.

Field would love to have Zach playing for them, wink, wink. Football & wrestling. Something to think about. At least he'd be back in red and not blue.

dont know how he developed since they left but he was a monster on the d-line... he would definatly help the spartans his uncle was a good guy if i remember correctly.... i wish freshon would come back he was not big but he was as tough a player you would ever see... i play softball with his uncle and he is still playing over in west akron somewhere.. i think he was qb on that c-team..

Now, if we could get a few of the kids from Green(K.J., C.D.) to come back, along with a few of the Field kids(J.K., M.M.) to come back, I could see many a Victory for those boys in High School. :)

and a couple current 8th graders at Lake also...(Ky Cr.... and Z. Mil...) both were very good players and both played in our youth system for years along with their fathers coaching in our program.. i heard Lake people were asking them how come all the kids that come to them from Springfield hit so hard. .. i love it.. i hope a return to Springfield is the best thing for us when the time comes, it has been really hard realizing this could be my sons last game as a Spartan and i know its killing him he wants to be part of the resurection of football here so badly he even talks about it on friday nights at the games even though the HS team struggles week in and out he looks up to those guys and wants to be part of the solution in the future...
