Once again it was Jeff Hoenie providing the offense with an early goal within the first 7 min. After that, the explosive rocket defense led by von hoenie was too much for the knights to overcome.

hoenie, or whoever the forward is, was suprisingly good. not sure where he was last year, but i was very suprised. i expect mcnick to make a run in the playoffs just like last year.

the possesion at mid field was back and forth all game. Both the Rockets and Knights put up tough fights, but i'd have to give the possesion advantage to Alter.

mcnick has a go to guy. its hoenie. he has like 15 goals...and yes i agree with rocketballer mcnick has beat the powerhouse gcl schools so how can u call them weak? you could say it was a fluke if it was jus one game but they beat x 1-0 elder 4-0 tied moeller tied lasalle beat alter...not too shabby

Looking at their results (minus Carroll, everyone can have one bad game and also Carroll is very very good), I don't think anyone can really argue that McNick is not a good team. They are very good. They will have their hands full with Finneytown though. That will be a very good game.
