Why does the SWDAB continue to send Cincinnati teams to Dayton for tournament play? Ross gets ripped off every year. They lost to Alter 1-0 in OT last year, are 15-0 this year, and get the 6th seed????

Also, the Parochial Schools in Dayton get to choose sites and times for their games. The Board should force them to use pre-chosen neutral sites. CJ is known for picking the farthest place from the opponent. Money is worthless.

Before you start ripping on the parochial schools you need to get your facts straight.

1. The highest seed on the bracket gets home field advantage until the District Semi-Finals (Sectional Finals as the SWDAB calls them).
2. The District Semi-Finals and District Finals are played on neutral sites.
3. The Coach has the option of where his team will play those games if they make it that far.
4. The Coaches/Schools do not make the sites and times, these are known well in advance of the meeting. Generally posted on the SWDAB website.

You say Money is worthless, why because he may have chosen a site closer to his school?

Why did Ross get #6 seed, I'm guessing that the Dayton Coaches don't get to see them, and from I what I have read on this site, their schedule suspect. Last year's results are meaningless, and I don't know of 1 coach that votes based on what a team did last year.

Someone played CJ a few years ago. We wanted to scout, CJ had to move game up to afternoon due to game later that night, problem was no game. They pulled one over on the opponent. Carroll has played at Athletes in Action in Xenia when they play teams on west side. Not hating parochial schools, they should just be held accountable.

Teams like Ross cannot get the "big 4" to play them, than they cant get their votes either. It is unfair. --- and Money is worthless...

You're right they probably did it just so you couldn't scout them. There are hundreds of reasons as to why a game would be changed, and I doubt the opponent scouting them is one.

I think the coaches usually do a good job of voting the seeds. Has Ross played any of the higher seeded D2 teams or any good D1 teams? Strength of schedule matters!

I thought Ross would get a higher seed than #6 up there, but at the same time their strength of schedule hurt them. After Finneytown & Wyoming, who is their toughest rated opponent? 16-0-0 is a great accomplishment, but if they played the same GCL schedule as Alter or CJ they would not run the table. It is no disrespect it is just a fact. I think that Monroe is a good team, but should not have been ranked higher than Ross. If Ross had Monroe's schedule they still would have gone undefeated as well.

Ross should get their chance to prove themselves playing Carroll, but after Carroll beat Moeller 5-0 and has been impressive all season it will take a special effort to knock them off in the District Semi's.
