Just wanting some thoughts on if Ross deserved the 6 seed? I'm not sure they will even get passed Monroe, but if they get by them, do they have any chance of beating Carroll?

Haven't seen Ross play, but they beat Finneytown 2-0. Just from looking at results I'd say the Monroe game should be pretty even. Don't see them playing with Carroll unless they take Ross lightly.

15-0 deserves better than a 6 seed

Carroll would beat ross 12-nil. Period.

Carroll would never beat anybody 12-0...they always stop at 9 then play possession.

I don't think Carroll has put 12 on anyone this year, not sure that'll happen, but I'm sure it would be a 4 or 5 goal differential

Based on what???? I certainly hope if they meet that Carroll feels that way. Finneytown did...........

I don't think that Carroll would overlook anybody with a 15-0 record, no matter how weak Ross's schedule is. They are also going to remember that Alter had a tough time with Ross last year in the playoffs

ud, very true. I say 4-0 Carroll.
Some good early games in Dayton D2. Bellbrook/CJ and Alter/Eaton in the 2nd round. Eaton has been playing pretty well and may test Alter. In the other district the possible Tipp/Oakwood semi will be a very good match.

I'm not sure the seed would have mattered..no matter what..if Ross wants to show how good they really are, they still have to beat carroll, they still have to beat either alter or bellbrook...they just have to beat them in a different order...first you gotta get by Monroe

well I bet, there coach got home feild advantage in early rounds instead of seeding advantage

Not sure how home field goes in the first 2 rounds..they have a bye, and then they would play either 5 or 10 seed...so if monroe wins..i would assume better seed is home??

Higher seed gets home field advantage in the first 2 rounds. So yes, if Monroe wins in the 1st round they will play at Monroe.
I'm sure Ross probably deserves a higher seed, but I'm guessing no one in Dayton has seen them play and their schedule is not the toughest around. The coaches went with what they know.

Where did you get that impression? Finneytown did not go into the Ross game thinking they were going to thump them....they knew they were in for a tough match. It was a 1-0 game last season and Ross obviously has a much improved team this year. Don't generalize.
As for Ross vs Carroll, I would not look past Monroe because they are not a bad team. If the Ross vs Carroll match happens then I can imagine Ross will play with something to prove but Carroll won't take anyone lightly.

The comment wasn't meant to overshadow how good Finneytown is but simply to tell the idiot that said Carroll would beat them 12-0 that Ross is good and shouldn't be overlooked and yes the Monroe game is a tough one and will be fun to watch.

the monroe carlisle game is predicted that monroe will when, which they should, when we play monroe it will be a good match, i can see why a lot of people hate on us because of the schedule we play, but we can hang with the best. 16-0-0 by the way

well idk if u have seen ross the past two years but to say they have a much improved team is obsurd. you cant look at the scores from both years and make that conclusion. i have seen them play the past two years and i think in order to say this years team is better they need to prove it to us all by playing carrol as well as they played alter last year
