View Full Version : Sycamore @ Fairfield
The second big GMC game this week is Sycamore at Fairfield. Should be just as good as the Mason/Fairfield game. Ryan Lavigne should have no problem handling Fairfield's midfield, but Sycamore's defense will have a tough time keeping up with Fairfield's offense. Thoughts and predictions?

Sycamore wins 3-0.
This will be a great game. I expect a tie or a one goal differential. These are the games that get you ready for the playoffs. Mason on Monday and Sycamore on Thursday will tell us a lot about how far FF might go in the post season.

3-0??? i really dont think so...there has been 1 game where fairfield has not scored and that was vs milford.. plus like i said in the other thread fairfield has 4 players in the top 10 in the points on gmcsports.com. i feel like lotr10 either a tie or a 1 goal difference.. it will be a good game though

i feel fairfield will come out with the win...it is their senior night i believe so u know they will be pumped plus they have some very dangerous players who can score goals

I thought Mason would handle FF and I was wrong. That was a very even match and Mason is playing as well now as they have played all year. It was not Mason had a bad game. FF just played that well. Hopefully more FF fans will be at this game with Sycamore than the Mason game. I thought attendance that night for FF was weak for a home game. They have a great team, the FF fans need to come out and support them. I think FF will prevail as well.

Sycamore's defense has only let up three goals all season and their offense has been great nearly every game. Sycamore should be able to put fairfield away 2-0 at least, no matter if it is senior night or not.

I have watched both teams play this year.Very equal talent.Could go either way.But I will tell you,you can't let the strong dribblers go were they want to. Put a body on them. Let them know your there. You know which ones I'm refering to.Who ever takes the others midfield out of the game will win.
Sycamore 2
Fairfield 0
Sycamore scored a goal in each half to take the game. JV A game ended in a 0 - 0 tie.
