2008 FAVC Buckeye Title....Thursday Night

Once again it will come down to one match this Thursday night for FAVC Buckeye title.......Milford Eagles v Loveland Tigers.

Predictions........

i think it will be a very evenly matched game..i think it will come down to who can take advantage of their chances better

I'm bummed I'll miss this game on Thursday, but I'd say Milford is the better team all around. Of course, I thought that last year when Loveland pulled it off. Rivalry games are known for that!

Cmon stayfly, stop whining about a bs game. As far as I can read on yappi, it seems almost everygame is a "bs" game in some regard. Usually the refs blow it, which I guess is what you are getting at. Bottom line is that Loveland has owned Milford when it comes to the big game. Barring another "bs" game, we'll have to see how this pans out because certainly both have the talent to win the title. No matter who wins this it will be the better team THAT DAY because they will have found a way! I would love to not see any posts on Friday about how their team got screwed!

loveland and milford is a great rivalry. i do not play soccer, i am on the varsity baseball team and i absoluetly love playing against loveland! The rivalry is great especially when it comes to soccer and basketball.

Walnut Hills plays Kings on Thursday night as well to possibly decide the Cardinal champ. Whoever wins will get the title, but if they tie and Turpin wins against Wilmington they will have to split the crown three ways.

Can't wait for this game. I know Milford is going to have a big crowd at Loveland, it is going to be intense. Loveland better bring their A game, Milford is still pissed about last year's "loss".

I'm going to go ahead and say what some have already said on this thread. Milford is the overall better team, but Loveland knows how to win the big games. Loveland wins 2-1

This is becoming one of the great rivalry games in Cincinnati, and goes back back for many years ... when it comes to a rivalry game ya never know who is going to win.... should be a huge crowd for a big game !!!!!!!!!!!1

milford wins 4-2. loveland had to push up at the end and they scored their 4th goal in the last 10 seconds so altogether it was a very exciting game. milford looks VERY good in their attacking third with their unselfish play.

At least leave your cockiness and bad sportsmanship on the field and bring a little class onto the threads and respect people's view of the game.

I think many on here would agree that Milford is a cocky team and at times does not show much class. But nonetheless congratulations Milford on your first FAVC title.

Milford returned the favor to loveland this year bringing a very supportive crowd and storming the field as loveland did last year creating a great atmosphere for their first favc title. Congrats Milford!
