Went to the game last night...Centerville finally got a good team to play. Some of my useless thoughts on the game. Beavercreek had more to lose coming off the loss on Saturday. That being said Bcreek came out energized, focused and scored within the first minute. Second thought is, why Centerville is playing a flat back four? With one of the most talented defenders in the state in Ryan Huber...Why do you need players playing next to him. Third thought is Centerville did make the adjustment in the second half to play with a stopper, but still did not transition forward enough to help the forwards in getting a goal. Lastly, in high school soccer, it's not always the team with the better skills or prettier style of soccer. Beavercreek hit harder, won second chances and finished their chances. Good luck to both teams.
