A good one tonight...ST. X is finally healthy and FF is playing very well...what are everyones thoughts and predictions on the game?

I am not a huge follower of D1 soccer but I play club with quite a few Fairfield players. Based on results and my knowledge, I expect a good game and I take Fairfield winning by 1 or 2.

X has a very strong defense, they'll tie 1-1
This will be a great game. These two teams have a bit of a rivalry from their recent post season encounters. I look for a tight contest with the team that makes the most of its chances getting the win. I'm thinking a one goal game either way.
The great news is the weather looks to be okay so if you're not doing anything stop by the stadium. Heck by the time they get done with the pre-game hype you'll only miss a little of the 1st quarter of the OSU/USC game.

Take Tylersville to the rout 4 by-pass and head south on the by-pass (left turn onto the by-pass if coming from West Chester).
Turn right on to Symms. About 0.5 mile, turn left onto Berk. Stay on Berk and GO PAST the high school. Turn right onto rt. 4 (there is a white castle on the corner - be warned if you stop for a slider - the FF soccer stadium only has porta potties).
Stay on rt. 4, go by Jungle Jims. Turn right onto stadium drive. The stadium is visible from here.
Great game tonight. These are two of the better teams in the State. It was end to end. Key was an X goal scored with only 34 seconds left in the first half to put the Bombers up 1 - 0. The Indians equalized with about 15 minutes left. X scored the game winner off a spectacular free kick from about 35 yards out.
These teams are likely to hook up again in the playoffs. For me the Cincinnati area is wide open in D1 with Milford, X, FF, Sycamore and West in the running.

Yep, 2 - 1 was the final. Just got back from the game. Hansson scored for FF, not sure who scored for X

When the bombers are healthy they can make some noise. This was supposed to be "the year" for the St. Xavier soccer program so there's a lot of pressure riding on these kids. If they stay healthy they could make a run at state, but in order to stay healthy they need to toughen up a little bit.
