For the first half today the FF Indians did their best Ohio State imitation as they trailed NW 2 – 1 at half. After FF took a 1 – 0 lead and missed numerous opportunities to put the game out of reach, NW scored 2 late goals to stun the Indians.
Trailing 2 – 1 the Indians regrouped and came out of the gate in the 2nd half smoking. Hansson scored two quick goals including a blistering shot to the upper 90 that set the 2nd half tempo.
The NW goalie did a great job and had a bunch of saves but FF’s superior numbers wore NW down in the end. Nice win by the Indians on a beautiful afternoon as FF raises their record to 4 – 1 – 2.
