I showed up late, and it was already 2-0. What I saw when I was there was that the score should have probably been like 8-0 by halftime. The OH keeper made a couple of good saves, but Milford had a couple of shots go wide, too.

Yeah I was talking about Oak Hills and forgot that Milford switch to the FAVC but would still compete for the top of the GMC if they were still in it.

Sorry-not a milford fan-especially after being "glorified" for beating on Amelia 16-0 last year. I know there are some really talented players for mildford (watched many of them grow up in soccer). but I definitely question their "cocky-ness". Way over the top-I just hope this year they use some sportsmanship !! If you are beating on a team by half-put your 2nd and 3rd string in (yes, I know they are good players too).
Maybe they should look in to changing THEIR schedule ! I know there are very few teams in FAVC who could even give them a game.

If you have the courage to identify your school, lets look at your programs , girls basketball, baseball, soccer , football are you that blind to think that your school does not have lop-sided victories ? .... This is D1 High school sports ....This is where you play hard and play for keeps ..... I suppose if somebody gets an A on a test and somebody gets An F you would protest as well because that is a horrible for one person to do better than another by such a large margin.

I believe it was 3 years ago that Colerain beat Milford in Football by a 63-3 margin. And that was with 2nd and 3rd string playing.

You are an absolute idiot! The Enquirer didn't score 16 goals on a very bad Amelia team. Milford did. You must think we are all slow or something. Come on dude. . . don't trip. 2gd4u-if you really read it--I understand there are lopsided games-but some are over the top. I am not trying to take ANYTHING away from Milford-they are an extremely talented team, down to the "bottom of the roster". I don't blame the players-as I said I have watched many of these young men since they were 8 yrs. old-play competitive against teams my son has been on.
I know they are very worthy of a top ranking title-and after re-looking up their schedule-for the most part-they play a majority of teams that should be able to give them great fits.
As for lop-sided, my children go to a small D1 school and the lop-sided schools are usually not in our favor-but I understand that and know that it will help strengthen the individuals on the team with talent and who may play for club teams.
As for favorite team--I have many as I cheer on all the players from all the select teams I am involved in !!!
