D-2 State Top 8 500 free

Now that the boys have been split into 2 divisions, what do you think will be the time to get top 8 at State?

For D2 just under 4:50 looks like it will make top 8. Top 16 could be high 4:50s. Expect some D2 qualifiers over 5:00 in the state meet. For D1 it looks like it will take under 4:40 for top 8 and mid to high 4:40s for top 16. Depending on how the autmatic qualifiers are apportioned D1 could have a 5:00 qualifier as well.

I figured a couple + 5:00 would make it to state in D-2, which is kind of strange considering I went a 4:52 at Districts last year as a freshman, and wasn't close to qualifying for state. Now, as a sophomore, I'm looking at top 8 at state. Kind of disappointing.

No kidding. Tell Brian A. he needs to start swimming again. He could probably qualify for state in both individual and relays now.
