Personally, I hope Green is looking past Springfield. I find it funny that a 3-7 team from last year and an 0-1 team so far this year would look past anyone.

I hope the boys dont get over confident from the springfield game. after all, they are just 16-18 yrs old.

I wish we didnt play them. I'm not putting springfiield down, heck, thier football program is such a mess, you cant just blame the players. I was a springfield fan in the 70's, my cuosin played for them. they were tough back then. its just we need to play our caliber teams.

don't take this wrong way, but you did play Teams of your caliber last year, and only won 3 games.

Thinking about a team a week or two down the road and not worrying about the team at hand IS how you get beat. I'm sure Stacey will keep their heads in check. This win will be good, but it doesn't prove anything, come on, it's Springfield.

well Green was not looking past the Spartans- I left at the end of the 3rd quarter after our JV's scored on your starters- you will probably end up scoring a touchdown or 2 against our 3rd team JV's and then say the game was actually closer then the score

I feel bad for the Springfield kids- when I played against them in the early 70's they were tough as heck-hopefully they will be able to return the program to it's glory days
