View Full Version : Best Soccer Stores
Does anyone have a strong recommendation for a good soccer store in the Dayton or Cincinnati area? After being dissed for a second time by a rude "salesman" at the Soccer "Minus" store across from the Dayton Mall, I realize that I need to find a better place to buy equipment for my 5 kids. Any recommendations?

Soccer Village is a great company with 5 locations across Cincinnati. They will give you very good service and I've never had a problem with them.
Soccer CSI is also a great resource. They are located by Tri-County Mall in Cincinnati as well. Though I think they have a better selection of replica and shoes, they do not offer the service that Soccer Village does.

My son plays for a Dayton club and a few dads on his team went up to the Nike store up in the outlet malls (Prime Outlets). They are just north of Dayton by about 40 minutes, but they got shoes for half the price Dicks or others were selling the same shoes for. 130 shoes for like 50. Don't know what other things they carry for soccer, but they may have other things as well. The soccer "specialty" stores are about twice the price as other places for similar merchandise. Also, if you are ever down south for tournaments, there is a franchise called "Academy" that is like a Dick's Sporting Goods, but half the price of Dicks. If they ever open locally, it would put DSG out of business.

Soccer Village does a great job.
They have been good with returns, team orders, individual sales for over 2 decades.
Multiple locations and good selection as well.

If you do not want to go to a store, www.soccer.com (Eurosport) has just about everything you can need for soccer, as well as things you will not find at soccer specialty stores. They also have a great return policy. I also agree that Soccer Village is a good store. CSI has just a bit more keeper stuff than Soccer Village.

they are not good about returns - you do not get your money back only a store credit - even if you have the receipt!

Wrong.
It's only when you pay in cash that you cannot get a refund of money. If you pay with credit, the money can go right back on the card.
