Turpin 0 Oak Hills O However Turpin was dominate. Oak Hills has a Great 6,5'' keeper that will keep them in a lot of games.

Centerville 2 Milford 1

Centerville had a PK in the first minute of the game, which was saved by TG, Scored a crappy goal off a scirmish at the penalty spot. Milford scored on a PK, but the score does not show who dominated. Centerville had 2 actual shots, and 2 PK's, compared to Milford's 15 shots, three being off the crossbar and a couple more being off the posts, a very good team in centerville though, just wasnt milford's day, and centerville finished there few amount of shots, and Ryan Huellings making a couple nice saves in the first half

First off Oak Hills goalie is Sean Teepen and he is not 6'5'' and your are correct about him keeping Oak Hills in games this season.

For the record he is like 6'1''

Should have been more like 4 or 5 to 2 for Moeller, but that dang cross bar. I thought Fairfield was suppose to be good?

Yes, they did win 3-1. Impressive goal from Steve Schaeffer from about 40 yds out.

Elder lost alot of talent, but there's still quite a bit of talent left. I don't think they will win the GCL south, but they will be very competitive. They only have 6 or 7 seniors on the team.

or was it a SCRIMMAGE??
maybe west really is "that bad" but i seriously doubt it. we lost both of our scrimmages last year and if i remember right we ended up having an ok season. Coop changed things around a lot last year even though we pretty much knew what the line up was going to be. This year with only two returning starters, i'm sure he mixed it up even more.

I assume you were on the sidelines also but I have to admit I do not come to the same opinion. Regardless, one of those cross bar shots would have been counted in some games. Should have been 3-2 Moeller.

Perhaps Moeller is better than what people expect. I do not hear people giving Moeller Soccer much love.

I do have a gripe that there apparently was not a trainer at the game. They could have used one.

not to bash the kid...but he didn't deserve that goal.
it was simple...horrible goal keeping.
but anyway, don't count west out of anything. it was just a scrimmage and a lot of their players are hurt...including one of their two returning starters.

i was at that game and it seems like both teams still werent in the groove.
centerville looked like they had more talent but milford seemed to play harder.
if centerville gets everyone on the same page there going to be a tough team to beat. milford already seems to be on the same page just needs to finish there chances

Two very solid teams...Mason has some very nice players on the wings.

JV teams played to a 1-1 tie.

I agree, Mason has a lot of speed and balance. I think both teams took advantage of the fact there were no ref's. When Elder got up 3-1, things got a bit testy...but it was fun to watch.
Elder is beginning to figure out that Anthony Meyer is gone, and others are stepping up. Elder defense also looked very strong. Good tune up for both teams.
