Fields have been set, important dates have been assigned and Fundraisers are being finalized. Just have a few bumps in the road coming up, concerning Lawyers and Court dates but we do not expect this to slow our progress.

I understand why you support this new league. I have known you since you were a little kid and wish the best for you and your family. i agree with you Irish87 every person on our board is a trustworthy in it for the right reasons type of person they all have impressed me above and beyond the call of duty. now the opposition claims we have background problems but all of us have coached in the Suburban Youth league for many years and every year we turned in our background check paperwork and guess what no problems.... try again boys.. whats next? we are ready and united and actually preparing for the season, why dont you do your players a favor and do the same its almost time to suit up....

Yes, it was Miller the previous 2 years and as I remembered our mediocre passing game passed at will on you last year for over 200 yards we just didn't have the talent in the end and yes our coaches couldn't stop the simple offense you guys ran. You'll probably have issues with people in every community, some you'll click with and some you won't.

but if I'm not mistaken, James and Gary still couldnt get them a Playoff victory. Not a knock on them because they were extremely talented, just stating, with a little more talent surrounding them, maybe they could have advanced a little further in the Post Season.

they had back to back seasons with playoff apperances with A.Gary and B. James on the team beating Lake in the first round one year and losing to Buchtel the second round and Buchtel went to the finals or semi-finals that year with a killer defense as was Springfields defense that year. the next year i believe Lake beat them in the first round.. so what i'm saying is they had one playoff victory in that run. since then i think you can count all the victories combined on you fingers and toes.... thus our desperation on changing some things in the youth program to help increase numbers and trained players in the future nobody here wants there kid to play on a 0-10 team for 4 years and with some of the talent i have seen here there is no reason this can not be turned around relatively quickly...

We have had numerous great football players leave because of our past coaches, that has changed with Stacey as the new coach. Green kids will stay now so I hope Tallmadge has enjoyed there little run. You owe your success to the director before Sam who had very competitive youth programs. In two years everyone will be talking about the few years Tallmadge was not a joke of the league.By the way are kids are good kids no trouble.

Go back about three directors to give the proper credit for the 2005 class. Some of those coaches are still with us.

This is not true. Mr. Gable stepped down after 27 years of service to the Ellet community. I believe he was Director for 21 years. He was at all of the meetings with BYF and he supported moving to that league. He turned the director position over to Mr. Boyd before we officially moved to the BYF. He resigned after 27 years of great service to Ellet. 27 years of league meetings, 27 years of monthly organization meetings, 27 years of Ellet Amateur Athletic meetings, 27 years of trustee meetings. 27 years of working bingo twice a month, working reverse raffles, working night at the races and back in the day working Las Vegas nights. 27 years of coaches meetings and all the other stuff that goes on in the off season. Because of Dan we have a beautiful field with a in ground sprinkler system. We have a nice score board. He got a nice press box built. He had the field house and concession stand remodeled. We have a great equipment room and coaches meeting room. Mr. Gable was a great leader and with out his dedication and leadership we would not be where we are today. I am proud to say he is my friend and I look forward to seeing him at the field this year. Great Job Dan!

Yea thats what I told the SYF board and your boy smash way back before we had our proposal meetings.The one that you were not at, and everyone voted the same way, then you threw your temper tantrum and got your way because you dad was calling all the directors for you saying everyone was reading it wrong.
So then I felt this league was not the best fit for Tallmadge anymore so we went to another BYF meeting and we all voted together and decided to move. With the support of the AD, high school head coach and the superintendent.
