Congratulations to Jerry Boso and Mike Talbert for making it to Columbus. If you know anything about wresting and the Firestone Districts (aka mini-states) this was no easy task. Boso will be one of sixteen boys from the entire state in the 152# class representing the Spartans...Talbert is going as an alternate, but his last match was seriously close. This is the first time I have seen and AD come to Firestone to support our school, so we must be headed in the right direction. Thank you to all the volunteer coaches who came all year and helped that didnt have to, they made all the difference in our current coaching situation. I know this may be boring to everyone who wants to fight about football, TOO BAD. We should be more positive for the kids sake..:rainbow:

congrates to Boso and Talbert great work hope Boso can come out strong in his bracket and bring one back to Springfield. there is a spot on the central gym wall waiting for his name to be placed with the other warriors from Springfield who have put in the hard work and grueling training to make it to the State finals. probably the hardest mental and physical challenge for any high school athlete. i hope Talbert gets his shot to compete too he deserves it :thumb: props to AD he already has shown his commitment to be 100%...
