Springfield football Hold em tournament will be held
Friday march, 28 2008
Tri County Plaza {lakemore plaza-- next to goodwill
Registration 5pm
Cards tossed promptly at 6pm

The buy-in is $50 and there will be unlimited $30 re-buys (you must be out of chips) for the first hour. At the break, there will be 1 final $30 add on. The cost is $20 if you would just like to come and eat and join the fun, but not play in the tournament.

It is highly recommended that you purchase your seat in advance. Although seats will be sold at the door, it will be on a first come first served basis. We are expecting at least 150 players.

Pay outs will be determined after all the re-buys and add-ons are calculated, but there is a $1,500 guarantee for 1st place, and all players at the final table will be paid.

I hope we take a step back and realize what we preach can come back to haunt us. Sure I have seen the light and now want to reinvent myself for a better cause.

So without further Ado I would like to set up a boot camp for the JV and Varsity coaches who really need to reexamine themselves better. I know I cant do it all by myself, so I am asking help anyone from green because lets face it, they are what they preach.

Man I wish I had a magical puppet string to stretch that far.

I looked at the leagues website but didn't see anything new. Just thought that with the last week of the month coming up, that the meeting would have taken place already.

I'm sure that when the meeting takes place a couple of the directors will come on here and let us know what changes are in place for 2008.

What changes has the league been discussing for the up coming year? i heard some of the weight items but i am not part of the syf board only the ssyf board. i heard something about 150 max for a-team down with skill players having more stringent weight restrictions similar to current limits. jv and varsity remaining similar to the way it is now so we won't be fighting with the J.H. for kids and we can still send trained lineman to J.H. is this perfect no but it would be a move in the right direction but i don't really know what they have or will decide, i assume we will find out very soon. contrary to popular beliefs ssyf really wants to work with the schools we are kind of in a holding pattern until some decisions come down from the syf board once they do come down we will meet with our A.D. to inform him of the situation...

I guess our work is almost done here. I have enforced my ways into the suburban youth and required them to make a change.

I usually don't take credit for my ability to bring people together, but today I am.

I know from my passionate beliefs I have created a better playing field for the future of Springfield. The head of syfl seen it my way to make the change necessary to move forward with my and I am saying it lightly my way.

I hope people of Springfield and the surrounding townships, cities can reflect back on how the south was won.
