Centennial is the highest rated opponent of any of the top rated teams

we will see what moving to the EBAL does to DLS SOS next year, it certainly will only help and despite playing in the BVAL they still "maxed out" with the #1 ranking this year

FYI, maxpreps rankings are the same as calpreps. Could you please call those guys and ask why DLS is "ranked" #1, but the system predicts them losing to X by a touchdown?

what is a 3 point win over a team not ranked in the top 25 when the opponent had the ball inside the 20 ready to score the go ahead TD as time ran out?

and what is a 3 point 3 overtime win over a 3 loss unranked team??

I think these rankings are supposed to get more accurate the season goes on concha. You would be foolish to discount them at this point. Wait a little longer for them to have mroe data.

Fact: DLS played one top 200 team in calpreps and it was a scary affair.

Fact: X played 4 top 100 teams and only one DLS opponent would fall in the top 2/3 of X's schedule.

Fact: calpreps predicts DLS losing to X by a TD.

Fact: Every team DLS played had more than one loss.

Fact: Only two DLS opponents managed to get 10 wins during the season.

PS Centennial is national top ranked team

PS St Iggy isn't

PS DLS won by 6

PS St X won by 3

PS DLS took a knee inside the 5 as time expired

PS St X had to struggle in 3 overtimes

PS and we arent even mentioning a 10-7 "win" that the other team came VERY CLOSE to winning

I'd have to agree. DLS isn't a top 5 team in the nation IMO. I also don't think Katy is that good. I think Trinity is better than Katy. Pahokee isn't a top 5 either.

my simple reply is that if St X fans can point out all day the calpreps rankings of their opponents, that must mean they take great faith in the calpreps model
