Evidently there is more than just MNW in Florida -

I don't care what anyone from any state says about their high school football. I think it is proven that the top 4 states - TEXAS - ohio - florida - california has top teams every year that can compete in ANY state.
So here it goes for the umpteenth time

TX. Best atmoshphere - Most commitment to high school football. College type programs - Even the transfer rules mirror the NCAA.
Florida - Best athletes
Cali - Great teams - Great athletes
Ohio - Great teams and atmosphere - the closest to TX - if it were the same size, it would all be equaled out.

I would agree with the bolded part, but obviously teams from other states have proven to be salty, ask DLS what they think about WA.

The rest is the stuff that off season is made for.

ony a fool or a jealous type would take shots at 2004 DLS

they started the season 2-3-2 after winning 151 games in a row

it was not Washington, it was DLS

have a clue

I would give much credit to Bellevue. They matched the Spartans off season workouts and then some. They did seem to aquire some top talent from area high schools to help make history but BHS started a Freshman QB and did not pass once.

They beat DLS like a red headed stepchild.

OK sure, the way a team from CA/TX/FL/OH can lose to a team from another state is because they suck that year.

That makes a lot more sense.....

Thanks for cluing me in.

Clovis West is from CA, correct? I was trying to make the point that teams from other states besides CA/TX/FL/OH can be pretty salty.

That was the point. The first game that came to mind, was the Bellvue-DLS game. I apologize. Making the point that a CA team beat another CA team would not have made much sense, right?

I remember that West Monroe(LA) beat state champion Midland Lee several years back.

I hereby retract the statement that WA teams might be as good as CA teams. I also staet that LA teams might be as good as TX teams based on this result.

Is that OK?

It was just a cheap shot at DLS

I guess 151 wins in a row wasnt enough for you

let me knkw when SLC beats a top out if state team

they are 0-1 and choked in their one chance

Umm yeah. Other games where top TX/CA/FL/OH lost to teams from other states that come to mind are? ??

SLC lost to a FL team, right? Doesn't really fit the bill right? After all this time, don't you know I am not a SLC guy? But they are 1-1 w/OOS competition.
