This was the lowest SCORING game in history.
It did rain for the earlier game, but not in this, the nitecap. Poly had a 1st & Goal in the 1st Q, but then lost yardage, the muffed the FG snap. O Lu had 1 & G from inside the 1, but failed in 4 straight in the 3Q. Then at the end, final 2 min, O Lu was driving, got to 1 & G from the 2 or so, made a yard on 1st attempt, then with about 25 sec left, they fumbled a handoff att and Poly recovered at the 3 or so, then took 2 knees. I Think those were the only real scoring threats of the nite. Neither team crossed the others 35 or so other than what was mentioned above. Both teams have great D's but little O. Very uncharacteristically, Poly has virtually NO speed on this team. (Ditto, O Lu) Still an entertaining game.

Well, you have to give LB Poly credit for beating Orange Lutheran when nobody thought they really would, despite being the higher seed.

OL was averaging 21 points a game against some very tough teams

they scored over 40 I believe in the D2 state bowl game last year

they have a great offense

Poly had 2 great GL stands

unbelievable game
