I am in search of any Springfield Varsity basketball tapes from the 1990-91 season. I know these will be next to immpossible to locate, but I am trying. If anyone knows who I might contact if these are stored somewhere, I'd sure appreciate it.

Why, did you play against them? If so, I gotta see them!! I gotta see the ground round of rebound play.

I played FOR them that year...went to Springfield for basketball season my senior year. And i was much...let's just say...thinner then:cool:

I may have some tapes. I have a bag full of duplicate videos from the 90's. Did you say 90-91?

Yes...'90-'91 Springfield Spartans. Any that you might have would be greatly appreciated...

Bolton was the coach that year...

Tallmadge, most of the tapes I have found so far are from mid 90's. I'll keep looking though and keep you posted if I find any

I don't think the team's archives go back that far at the school. When I taped for them, we were using tapes from the 05-06 season for 06-07 games, if that tells you much.

I know...the school might not have them, but someone does. There were even a couple games on TV that year. Just searching, that's all....not really expecting to find any, but thought I'd try...

Do to all the cutbacks, they may have had to re-use them and tape over for more recent games. :laugh:

You may think I'm joking, but trust me, it happened 2 years ago with my sons game film.
