Elder looked great today. Play of the game was the save on the PK. Beavercreek sagged after the Elder keeper stopped the shot. Elder scored 2 of their goals off of long throw ins by #10.

Good luck in the semi finals! For the third year in a row a Cincinnati area team wins the Region and makes the final 4!

good game by elder. they pretty much dominated the whole game. first goal for elder came off of a throw in from meyer. beavercreek tied it up with four minutes left in the first half off a beautiful set piece play. elder came out after half time and scored a goal thirty seconds into the half. idk if there was a miscommunication with the beavercreek defense or what but it did not look good for beavercreek at all. the game was pretty much over after the elder keeper made a great save and stopped the pk. beavercreeks play plummeted from there and elder scored shortly after. i expected a lot more from this beavercreek team that everyone was talking about. well done elder and good luck in the state final four.

They scored their second goal off a corner. It might have even been an own goal. Elder's keep got knocked down somehow and wasn't involved in the play at all. The score doesn't tell how the game went. It seemed as if the ref was going after Elder in the 2nd half. They should have had one PK which was a very easy call. They also missed two easy opportunities. Beavercreek did not impress me at all. Mason was 20 times better than this team. Definitely didn't see what gave them the #1 in the state ranking.

This time, it is not a cincy ref that I thought was terrible...it's a dayton ref that was not consistent with his calls at all. Missed an easy pk for elder, took away advantage from both teams. These can't be the best refs in ohio.

Congrats Elder. Way to represent Cincy.
