Unfortunately, I'm going there to do some training at Souda Bay. Won't have any time to go see the scenery. Take some time to get some suflaki and wash it down with some metaxa. I loved Crete. Just stay away from the women. Locals do not like Americans bedding down the women (not kidding)

Thanks for the advice. I'll be spending most of my time at the base at Souda Bay near Chania. I would love to go see Knossos but I don't think there will be enough time in the evening.

I'm just bummed that I'll be missing so much football, including that SLC vs. MNW game.
