i don't want to take anything away from you but i wouldn't be bragging about a what? 7th place finish at state. moeller did beat X at state last year but X was a better team. Moeller won for the two days at state, but a better indication is GCLs. 4 nine hole matches and a 36 hole tournament -vs- two days in columbus. i played last year and if i was from MOE i would probably be telling people that i was a close 2nd for GCLs than 7th at state.

madden, state always shows who the better teams are. x did well in the gcl matches because they are played on short courses which favored x.

state shows nothing of a golfers true skill but more of his ability to grind out pars in below freezing weather

a better golfer can grind out pars in below freezing weather rather than beat someone in a nine hole match.

X Savvy, i play college golf, and it is all about making pars in cold weather. so it would make sense that better golfers can make the pars in the cold because generally speaking better golfers player more often in college than worse players. that said i think st x has been the better team for a while, but I cant figure out why moeller keeps beating them at state. kudos to moeller for that
