After all the matches, post how you guys did. So far Lowellvile is looking pretty good. With their 1 and 2 men struggling they are still winning. Look out when they start playing good. Also post some predictions on what you think will happen the rest of the year.

Lowellville- 169
Wellsville- 182
Lowellville's 1 and 2 man still struggled today but they will get it going again next week. It look's like the Lowellville and Sebring match is going to be a good one. Has Sebring been shooting like that all year or did they have a really good day.

i just think they had a real good day and they made putts when they needed them.. and the bears struggled a little but Patrick Russell was 1 under after 6 but then he just feel apart and came 3 over for the day... Ben Householder was the man to beat the other day Shooting Par (35).. and Zach Tieche with the 37...

Today Lowellville might have shot the best ever ITCL team score. They shot 154 with a 35 Scott Partika, 39 Anthony Alfano, 39 Cody Vocature, 41 Matt Likens. And they left out a 42 and 43 at a tough course. Watch out for the rockets!!!!!!!

Lowellville shot a 154 at Bedford Trails. They played the back 9, which is very narrow. Lowellville vs. Ursuline should be a good match. Ursuline is very good so the rockets have to be on that day.

Sebring is just a solid team this year and could do some damage....Zach Tieche is doing exactly what he needs to do to lead the trojan golf team with Ben Householder, Brandon Courtney, and that Crewson boy doing alot to keep getting the trojans wins. Keep it up guys!!!
The Clippers are 8 - 1 in the league, how is everyone else in the upper tier?

Who is the team to beat in the upper tier
Why is Tieche out. Did he break something? I thought that's what I heard.
I think Wed. is going to be a mess with both Tiers at Reserve Run, but hopefully not. From what I hear it is suppose to be a partial shotgun start. Just get ready for a long day of golf boys, I think you may be backed up for a while on a few holes.

South Range and Columbiana finished 1 / 2. They split their matches against each other both winning on their homes courses.

Tieche is out do to a broken index finger. He was just released yesterday to play again and he is very eager to get back on the green! Even with Tieche out for a few matches, Householder has been doing a great job filling the #1 spot! Keep up the good work Benny!
The whole team is having a successful season!
Go Trojans!!!
United Local won the ITCL tournement title at Reserve Run, shooting a 316. Springfield was second and South range third. I don't know who won the lower tier tourney title, but United's score of 74, 80, 81, 81 was the lowest of all 15 schools there.
-Sebring won the ITCL Tournanment-Tieche had a nice round considering the broken finger.
-Congratulations to Lowellville on their first league title.
-Congratulations to Scott Partika Lower Tier Medalist: Front~38 Back~39=77
-Both Partika and Anthony Alfano(F~43,B~36=79) from Lowellville got first team.
-Who was Tier 1 medalist and who else got first and second team?
-Who won the league in Tier 1. South Range I'm guessing?

Yea Eagle we have had a golf team for four years. I guarantee our school record is 33 by the end of this year. And I guarantee that we would kill United because we have 4 guys shooting really low. And I know that you guys don't have 4 guys in the 30's because you guys weren't even good last year.
It seems as though Mr Rocket was terribly wrong. United scored 17 shots better than Lowellvile on a neutral course. I believe that tells all.

Ur right AX7 they did beat us and a 74 is real impressive these are two real good teams were talking bout and United came out on top i think they just had the better day. i think United got stuck in D2 for sectionals that realy sux lot more compitiion but good luck to the eagles and all the ITCL teams. and Lowelviles record dod ot reach 33 but hey theres still sectionals by the way it was 34 by partika at bedford trails.

I think we all can agree that the upper tier was far superior seeing as Lowellville would have finished 5th out of 7th teams in the Upper tier tourney. Uniteds best score of the year is 34, two off the team record of 32.

I also think that we could agree that Lowellville didn't play very well at the tourney. They shot a 176 on the front, and a 157 on the back. So Lowellville could have definetly been under 320.
I also think that we could agree that Lowellville didn't play very well at the tourney. They shot a 176 on the front, and a 157 on the back. So Lowellville could have definetly been under 320.
But were they even close to breaking 320? No
All this talk about Lowellvilles great team and they finished in the middle of the pack considering the scores of all 15 teams there.
United could've shot lower as well-that's golf. United's 1 and 2 men shot 39 and 43 on their first 9, and 35 and 37 on their last 9-they didn't play very well at the start and they still shot 316 as a team
You can not compare these two schools for the fact that they are not in the same division. United has 194 boys and Lowellville 99. Considering that's nearly a 100 more there is a better chance United is going to have a better team. I’m not from United so I can not speak for them but having only 99 boys in your high school and having at least 4 that can average 166 is good. Also, golf is a sport in which one player’s performance affects the teams score more then any other. If someone plays bad the first hole it's not like you can sit them and pull someone off the bench. From the scores I had seen in the paper previous to the ITCL tourney it seems like all of the schools played better then usual. That's why Sebring got first in the lower tier and Springfield shot a 320. I'm almost positive the week or two before the tourney they were shooting in the 170's. But for the tourney they had two guys in the 70s. Both of you are right in saying your teams could have shot better and that’s golf. That is golf. United shot a 316 at the tourney, right? Well if I'm not mistaken they shot a 357 at sectionals, that’s 41 strokes more. That is also 24 strokes more then what Lowellville shot at ITCL tourney. Does that mean one team is better then the other? NO. It means United had a bad day, it happens trust me. And congrats to both teams’ golfers that shot 34 but you know what that means if the rest of the team shoots bad. Anyone? No, Ok it means absolutely nothing. I'm not trying to take anything away from those two golfers but one person doesn't make the team. United shot a 316 at the tourney, which they won; but did that win them the ITCL? No, they shot a 357 at sectionals did that get them to districts? No. It does not matter how low you shoot if it doesn't count for anything. What it comes down to is that "almost" any team can beat any other team on any given day. So in other words: Everyone stop worrying about.

Wow 357??? I guess your season's over
Who else qualified with Lowellville?
And for what it's worth Candywood GC from the blue tees and double cut greens is a a lot tougher test than what they or Lowellville faced at Reserve Run. for the league title.-- Instead of taking shots at United just be happy you aren't D2. You might have been thrilled to shoot 357.
I believe JFK was first, Springfield second, Lowellville third. Nice to see two schools from the ITCL going to districts, congrats to Lowellville and Springfield.
And for what it's worth Riverview isn't in the best shape so when you are playing summer rules (which I assume they did) it's terrible. Not to mention the fact that when I played Riverview Saturday the greens were real quick and wouldn't hold. I enjoyed it much more when they played Sugar Bush rather then Riverview for sectionals but what can you do.

Candywood measured almost 7000 yards from the blue tees, and I know that is much longer than Riverview. United is stuck with teams like West Branch, Ursuline and Cardinal Mooney, making it very hard to get out of that district. Unfortunately the Eagles don't get to play at R.V. against pretty much the same field they swept at the ITCL tourneys, with the addition of JFK. That said, congrats to Springfield and Lowellville for advancing and i hope they continue to do well. Does anyone know if Chaplow from Columbiana advanced individually.

individual was smith from southern i think armstorng or somthing from badger and either sidner from lisbon or hamm form crestview they wer ein a playoff wen we left. does any kno who one that layoff? as for the debate over dificulty of couse i playd at reserve and it playd tuff id have to give the speed off greens slight edge to riverview cause ive playd candywood alot but lenght would og to candyood but candy would is in better shape and u never have ot hit off dirt like riverview and there is a lot more troubl at riverview so id give about a 4 stroke more difficult than canddywood mb its just me but i luv candywood and always play good there but id say it is easier than riverview
also id say united and lowellville are equal teams it just coems down to who plays better each day.
and jfk shot a 298 im sure irish was real surprised they played lites out from wat i heard they hit a straight ball all day and avoide dlal the trouble i see them goin on to state pretty easily

Rocket09 i doubt that we're going to go to states "easily" as you put it, if you haven't noticed Riverview is probrally one of the easiest courses in our area and i'm not getting ahead of myself. We did this last year by making shirts that said "The Road to Columbus" that pretty much automatically jinxed us and we lost districts by five strokes. However judging by what Lutheran West shot at their sectionals (313) it's going to be a battle between four teams to get to states. JFK, Mogadore, Gilmour, and Lutheran West all can shoot low numbers and Seven Hills Golf Course is no cakewalk let me tell you that.

JFK, i think u would easily make it if u playd as good as you did at riverview. i no from expierence that thats not always the case being that i struggled real bad at riverview shooting 84 it just wasnt my day at all but my team cam through and got me to districts so now i think if i play like i had all summer i should have a decent chance getting out. i no an 84 is bad an no one would ever think that some1 would have a chance to get through but i no my game and wen im on i can fire low 70's so its all just how good u play and i think u guys are gonna pay great thursday and i am pullin for u guys to get through so good luck. But i still dont htink riverview is the easiest course in the area. yeah its pretty easy but come on i would rather play candywood any day before riverview im sure u have playd there before its realy not a tough course and i have broken 80 in thier tourny for the past three years and i really didnt play that great this year and still shot 77. so i still deny that candywood is easier than riverview.
. so i still deny that candywood is easier than riverview.
