Anthony Dann was outstanding in goal stopping 37 out of 38 shots on goal for a save percentage of 97.3. Beavercreek scored early in the first on a goal from Mike Murphy assisted by Aaron Huber. The Beavers went up 2-0 in the second with a goal from Lee McClure assisted by the Green brothers, Matt & Mitchel. St. Xavier scored with 3:40 remaining to draw to within 2-1. Beavers withstood the last minute shorthanded, the last 18 seconds down by two men. St Xavier pulled their goalie in the last 18 seconds for a 6 on 3 advantage (9 on 3 when you count stripes). Mike Murphy, Mitchel Green, and Dustin Seeger killed the Beavercreek penalties to seal the win.

It was a big win for the Beavers after losing to Alter 3-2 on Friday night.

i heard x had a few injuries going into and during the game. is this true?

I heard after the game that one of their better players did not play. I did see one player come off the ice during the 1st period with his arm wrapped. It wasn't clear whether this happened during the game (there was no stoppage in play). I thought he was on the bench for the start of the game due to it being Senior Night.
