Spartan B team

How's your B team looking? We open up against them in like 3 weeks. Anyone stand out? How's practice going so far?

What I've noticed about the B Team is, they have good numbers, good size and decent speed. I haven't noticed anyone who can pull away from anyone, running the ball, but they are big, strong kids with a lot of enthusiasm.

Sorry, thats all I've noticed. I haven't had much time to watch them.

Well, the Devils came away with a surprisingly tough win. I realy thought this game would be a blowout. Springfield has some decent size, and a good outside defense. We have been running outside at will in the scrimmages, but Springfield did not let that happen. Nice effort tonight Spartans. You guys should win some games this year.

I was surprised also, how close this game was. After Tallmadge marched down the field on the first drive and scored, I thought it would be a blowout. The kid who scored the TD was fast. Was that a Vassalotti?

Yes...number 34 is Vassalotti. He's not a bad linebacker either!!

Oh well. I wish you would have. I have many friends and family, within the Tallmadge community and enjoy staying in touch with them. I'll be back at your field later in the Season, for the Saturday Youth games.
