Anyone know if there is a timeline for a Tiger football program in the near future? I know CVCA started one not too long ago and has had quite a bit of success. It could do a lot for getting the LCCS name out into the community and state and do a lot to develop Christian character in the male students as well.
The OHSAA lists 35 boys in grades 10-12. They already have a golf and soccer team in the fall. I doubt they will be able to field a football team with that few students and competing sports.

I had been told within a year. That place could be a nice little athletic goldmine in the next few years.

CVCA has always been one of the largest Christian school sin this area. In fact, I can think of several Christian schools that are larger than Lake Center. But I think it would be great if they got a football program over there. I'd go watch.

With the amount of kids they have in their junior high right now I'm sure they'll be able to field a football team in the near future, maybe even as a D5 school. It would be fun to go and watch the team and root them on. A lot like CVCA in Summit County, Stark County folks would all still have their local public schools to root for but Christians in the area would also kind of have a team to rally around together.

I see that i am a little late coming in on this thread, but i have some useful info that has not yet been mentioned.
#1 Athletic Director John Fuller says that he will see A football team while he is still at LCC
#2 He also says that the soonest that we would have one would be 2209.
#3 Finally, their is some speculation that we never will have a team because LCC models themselves after LAncaster Mennonite School in LAncaster PA, and they have had a highschool for a very long time and have yet to get a football team.

In My Humble Opinion, Not any time soon, And if they do, the Scores won't be very pretty, Could you imagine if they played Uniontown Lake in a cross town series though? Again, not very pretty. If they do get one, It will take a while for them to be pretty good.
