Started this thread because I am interested to see what programs have had the most impressive amount of wins and/or winning percentage In the new millennium. Please post your programs record, playoff appearances ,number of regional titles, number of state runner ups, and number of state championships if applicable. Thank you and I look forward to seeing your posts!
 
 
Defiance is 101-119 after a 68-31 start through 2008.

Playoffs: 2000, 2001, 2003, 2008, 2013, 2020*
Regional runner up in 2000 and 2003
Playoff wins in 2001 and 2020

If this post was about records from say, 1990-2008 we'd match up well with anyone. Sad how far we fell since then.
 
Giesting slide killed anderson for the 20 years (ironic since he has a state title, runner up and a regional final)

If I’m not mistaken they have 34 losses 06-20. Not sure what happened between 2000 and 2005. Coldwater may have less losses if I’m correct. Stein I’d say has their playoff record beat. I could be wrong on all this. Watching for someone to post it now

I think he was including the year 2000. Big Red did not qualify in 2000.

Youngstown Cardinal Mooney has dropped off in the last few years but since 2000:

160-87 regular season record
39-10 playoff record
4 state titles: 2004, 06, 09, 11
3 runner-up finishes: 2005, 07, 13
 
Kirtland since 2000 is 210-52.

Pre-Tiger LaVerde (2000-2005), they went 25-35 with zero playoff experience.
Tiger LaVerde era (2006-present), they are 185-17 with playoff experience in 14 out of 15 years (finished 10th in region at 7-3 in 2009).

Kirtland has 16 playoff appearances in school history, 14 of them since 2000 (or 2006 if you want to be specific).
Kirtland is 49-10 all time in the playoffs; 0-2 pre-2000 & 49-8 since 2000 (or 2006 if you want to be specific).

Kirtland has won 9 regional championships in school history, all of them taking place since 2011 (every year except 2016).
Having won every state semifinal game (9-0), Kirtland is 6-3 in state title games.

The point is...pre-2006, Kirtland didn’t accomplish much in football. Thank you Tiger LaVerde for choosing Kirtland!
 
All I can say is that Mogadore’s resume since 2000 would be even more impressive if not for Kirtland and ML. Those programs are simply amazing!

Interesting tidbit.
CW has played Clinton Massie (2-1) three times, Kettering Alter twice (1-1) and marion local around 23 or so times since 2000.
