This is ridiculous. That said, I can only guess that this move by WWE is aimed at increasing viewership ahead of their media rights deals coming up for renewal next year.

Also, for those who haven’t been following along, WWE is reportedly for sale. The company is valued around $6 billion, but the asking price may be as high as $9 billion.

Michigan basically laughed at them as will every other state. I've followed the gaming industry pretty closely since the Supreme Court decision and this has zero percent chance of happening. A lot of states don't allow voting on award shows even with the very few people that know the results before they're announced. No way WWE could ever reach a number low enough for any board to allow.

WWE should get it legalized in some foreign country like how you can bet on scripted Presidential Election in UK
You can already bet on all the bigger matches on the offshore sites. Last I checked, many of those were going to bitcoin payouts. They have no issues taking cash in though
