Dylan Roth (Senior) --- Recipient of a $2000 scholarship through Blitz Tailgate and Beechmont Ford. Dylan also just won the the SWOWCA Coaches' Classic tournament; the first to do this for OHHS since 1997 (Justin Wilcox). In his semi-finals match, Roth defeated a Mount Vernon wrestler that took 3rd in state last year. Was a big time win.
Dylan Buis (Senior) --- Buis just took 5th at SWOWCA and now sits at 94 career varsity wins. 6 more to reach the milestone.
Dylan Urk (Junior) --- Urk finished 5th place at SWOWCA with 2 consolation wins coming with match-winning takedowns in overtime. Turned in a solid tournament showing.
Hunter Shepherd (Senior) --- Shepherd also finished 5th at SWOWCA where he knocked off the #2 seed from Moeller whom he lost to last year at sectionals. He won this match in the 4th overtime period by riding out his opponent in the 30 second ultimate tiebreaker. Very exciting win.
This weekend the team travels to the tough Medina Invitational Tournament.
