Who is Blackhawk? New club?

FYI: 18's was Vanguard 3's and 16's was Vanguard 2's team

Vanguard 18's hold seed, finish 2nd in opening pool.
Attack 18black does the same.
Ignite 18's hold seed, finish 3rd. (Without setter)
Vanguard 18-2 flame out and go 0-fer

Nope. Attack will be up against it vs baja. Could still get a bid, as the trickle downs could go deep. They would have to win a playoff amongst gold first round losers.

Looked like the seeding was pretty well on target with the 18's

Congrats to all area teams that did well

Rough tournament for Vanguard. I see both Attack 18-1 and 18-2 finished higher than Vanguard 18-1. Although none of the three teams earned a bid, which is what is most important at this point. Hopefully one or two of them can get a bid in St Louis assuming they are all going

Regarding the 18's in St Louis

Vanguard has 2 teams accepted
Attack has 1 team accepted and 2 others pending
Thunder has 1 team accepted
Air City has 2 teams accepted

Vanguard 18-1 takes championship at Florida Fest. Beat Durham HiP -2, and Ocean Bay1 all in 2 sets.

Vanguard 16s also get open nationals bid with 3rd place.

Any updates from PSU? Hate that they don't have live updates...
Heard air City 17 did well.

Air City 17 got a bid but declined
Vanguard 18 - 2 lost in first round of bronze
Vanguard 18 - 3 finished at bottom
Elite 18 - 1 lost in semi's of bronze
Elite 18 - 2 finished at bottom

Why would Air City 17 decline the bid? Nationals are in Columbus, not like they have to budget travel expense????

Don't think they can compete in Open?

Congrats to Vanguard 18-1 and 16-1. Just curious who the standout players are for the 16s team and high schools they attend? Also interesting to see Air City 17-1 managed to get a bid yet declined it. Anyone have info on why they would have declined?

Hoping some of the other Ohio area teams can get bids in St Louis.

The Vanguard 16-1.. Four players are at Darby, three at Westerville south.. But the two big studs are the Scioto outside and the tall setter

I think best bets in St. Louis come from Attacks teams and maybe 18-2 vanguard.. Hopefully well grab a few

Seeing AC17s turn the bid down is sad... Real chance for ohio to grow in terms of national presence and they turn it down

St. Louis seeds are out. Some good news for Ohio.
Vanguard 18 #8
Attack 18 #16

Vanguard 17 #17

Vanguard 16 #8
