You left off a state runner-up in Matt Thompson (189 lbs / 1999)

Richmond Heights.
Billy Adkins 98 LBS (2x sp, SC, NJCAA Champion)
Mark Adkins 105 LBS (3xsp, 2xSC)
Tim Hanson 112 LBS ( 3x sp, 2x sc)
Dan Hanson 119 LBS (4x state champion)
Herbie Adkins (The only guy to make the list that did not win a title! 3x state runner up)
Pat CamPoletti/Bobby Richards 132 LBS (Campoletti 2xsp & SC) (Richards 3xsp , SC)
John Potakar 145 LBS (2xsp, SC)
Ed Potokar 155 LBS (4xsp, 3xsc)
Ron Suzek 167 LBS (3xsp, 2x sc)
Allan Loushin 175 LBS( State Champion)
Bob Potakar 185 (,3x 2xSC)
Dennis Loushin HVY Weight (3x sp, SC)
Honorable Mention, Matt Mussara 2x sp,Jim Hanson, Al Evangalista, Doug Nemeckay, Ron McClullen, Matt McClullen, Brian Smith, Terry Yerkic, Ron Bendes, Mike Baird, Allan Sherrill, (Jeff Howley would have made varsity on any other team in NE Ohio if he didn't sit behind Campoletti , Herbie Adkins or Matt Mussara)
Most of the honorable mention guys were either state champions or runner ups. There are so many more that were brutal competitors but the common denominator was Mike Papourous ! Pappy!
BTW they don't even have wrestling as a sport at good old RH....

So with a 14 man lineup, using today's weights who do you plug where? You can slide guys up or down, if it's a weight they touched.

very difficult when you leave off 3x E Jayne, M Lenhard, S Nemec. 2x Strauss, Neider, Nakamura, Kulczycki, Moos, Roddy, Sako, Martin etc. could do 2nd and 3rd teams
IM sure there will be many different opinions.

King never won a state title . Brian Heffernan was a 2x placer and his senior year he was a state champion.
On another note, I remember a HW around 2012? That was ranked 2nd in the country. He ended up not wrestling his senior year so that he could go play football at NW with his brother. Ty Walz legit HW .

Thank you for doing the ‘heavy lifting’. Besides those you mentioned I would offer for consideration Chandler, Bertin, Walz, Hepp and Honeycutt. Additionally you have multiple times All-Americans such as Zack Thompson. Some of the recent wrestlers may also work their way into consideration in the near future. One of the interesting aspects of this is where the excellence occurs. As an example, Koz had a much better high school record than Walz but Walz had a much better college record.
I also would like to offer some respect to a wrestler who is essentially outside the scope of this discussion but has not received any real recognition. Bob Livingston was a member of the class of 1959. Eds first wrestling team was 58-59 thus in Bobby’s senior year. In his only year of wrestling, as a first time senior, he finished third in the state. I think that’s amazing.

King was 3rd in 94. State Champ in 95. Hvy your thinking of I believe is Kuhar.

HVY was tough. Only weight without a 2x champ. Heff was 6th then first State Champ in 78. Golz was an undersized Hvy and upset Vaun Broadnax in 79 to win State and then was Eds first AA. Waite SC and Terebieniec dominated 1 year with a 20sec pin in a State finals. Kuhar was a monster but had an injury then concentrated on football. Walz was greatest hvy in college but didn’t wrestle it in HS. Then you also had Cousineau who was 2nd and 3rd in State. I picked lineup on HS accomplishments only. And recent wrestlers Andonian Hepner Gallagher are considerations for greatest team.

Strochinsky, now that's a WWE name if I ever heard one, like Brutus " The Barber", no Brutus " Beef Stroganoff".

I would love to see some Central District teams all time squads.

I tried with Moeller. Not too familiar with older wrestlers, and I cheated sometimes. Made sure to put wrestlers at a weight they competed at in high school (or close equivalent with weight class changes). Sure I forgot someone!

120- Jacoby Ward (4x placer)
126- Joey Ward (2011/2012 state champ)

You'll have to miss more. Limit the list to one guy per spot. I thought about doing an All- Time JV squad & Freshman squad but not all programs are that talent rich.
