Worthington Christian pushed its ticket to the finals beating Cincinnati Taft 47-45. DJ Moore shot a the buzzer to win it. That is 2 tourney games Worthington Christian has won at the buzzer- beat Wheelersburg on a 3 at the buzzer.

Scoring drought doomed them. Expected them to keep it close but they had chances to take the lead and couldn’t capitalize.

Sunday will be fun....all 215 fans that attend the final game will be thrilled...lol. OG did all they could. Would have been nice if LE hadn't gotten every call from 1/3 of the officiating crew lol. It didn't decide the game...but dang, it sure seemed like she had an agenda lol Crazy thing is I don't think people realize the talent level OG had last year....if today was a 6 point game, last year was 20 plus in favor of OG.....damned Covid lol

LE was D2 last year, but were better too. They graduated Benson 6'8" could score from all 3 levels. He scored 60 in a game and had a couple games in the 40's. They also lost EJ Farmer (transfer) 6'5" wing who is a top 5 player in Ohio. Would have been a great game though no doubt.

Last yr D3 would have been Harvest Prep vs OG in one semi and Stivers vs Warrensville Hts in the other if memory serves me correctly.

Farmer transferred after the 18-19 season. He was at Cleveland Heights last year. Also calling him top 5 is very generous. Not sure he is top 5 in Cleveland.

Nowhere did he mention Worthington Christian. This is the D3 thread. Lutheran East will bring pretty much nobody just like Richmond Heights and almost every private school the past 5 years or so we have seen at state in the semis or finals.
